I need some more music... I'll list the bands I like and my favorites, and I want to hear some recommendations! lol

Bands I like in some kind of order from fav down.
Aerosmith
Guns n roses
Ozzy Ozbourne/black sabbath
AC/DC
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Jimi Hendrix
Metallica
Led Zepplin
Deep Purple
Seether
Poison
Alice Cooper
Iron Maiden
The Who
Rolling Stones
Van Halen
The Ramones
Nickleback
Beastie Boys
Godsmack
Breaking Benjamin

Mostly clasic rock, but I kind of have it all. Not a fan of rap or metal or punk really.

I dont have a huge collection, as I didnt really start listening to music until early high school...

Thats more than a collection than I've got.

Hmm...

Sonata Arctica,
Nightwish,
Vanishing Point,
Masterplan,
Hammerfall,
Kamelot

Staind - excellent lead singer and low low guitar
Chevelle (alt metal-ish... sorta)
Three Days Grace (I like their old stuff a little better)
Boston - old
Bush - pure awesome
The Cars - old, kinda loopy synth-tastic 80's-ish
Crossfade - solid new rock
The Eagles - c'mon man...
Evans Blue -a little like breaking benjamin, sorta
Flyleaf - female lead singer, interesting band
Foo Fighters - speaks for itself
Helmet - maybe a little too heavy for your tastes?
Hurt - classical influences make for a very full sound, lead singer is extremely emotional
Incubus - I guess. lol
Nine Inch Nails - industrial
Filter - there are a couple good songs by them
Thousand Foot Krutch - kinda unknown except for a few songs, worth a listen though
Shinedown - good southern rock

And that's all I could come up with for now, sorry. :D

Thousand Foot Krutch is mostly unknown because they're a Christian rock band. That's all I really listen to is Christian with a couple other bands non-Christian.

I listen to:
Thousand Foot Krutch - Sample
Skillet - Sample
Pillar - Sample
12 Stones - Sample
Seventh Day Slumber - slower rock for the most part - Sample
Kutless - Some songs hard, most slower rock - Sample

Stained is good. If you like Breaking Benjamin you'll like Three Days Grace, and most likely Trapt as well.

Personally I would check out distubed as well.

Oh, for finding good music, make an account on pandora.com. You create a radio station by tying in the name of songs/artists you like and it uses them to create a radio station made of songs/artist that have a similar style. I've used it to find a lot of music I never would have heard before.
