I've always been nuts about cars, I used to drag my poor wife round all the local showrooms & she'd sit drinking coffee after coffee while I was shown several cars, tell you what though, if she'd have lived she'd had simply loved my last three, the Passat, Audi & the Merc!!

my insurance prices were:

206 first year £1,800, second year couldnt get a quote under £2,900.. sold car
daewoo £1,200 a year, paid £400 for the car..
bmw £1800 per year
seat £1,300 per year

i havnt kept insurance for a huge amount of time really, the first year i had a years, then in the last year ive had 3 cars.. changed the policy to have a different car from the daewoo to the bm, got a new years policy starting from the end of last month..

wow those insurance prices are mega high. how old are you if you dont mind me asking?

ive only had one automobile and thats a nissan primera p10 2.0 and that cost me £850 on the insurance, not as high as marks and ive only been driving since aug 07. mind you i am 23yrs old which helped a little on the insurance
