Anyone on this forum do the Melbourne shuffle?
For those who don't know, it is a popular dance in Melbourne, Australia. Using a two-step movement called the 'Running-man" along with other movements. It was made I think in the 70s. But became more known and popular in 2001, and even more popular in 2007.
You usually dance to this to hardstyle techno. But sometimes can be done in trance, gabber, dance and other electronic music.
Now, so you guys don't get confused. Heaps of people started doing battles and started making crews so they can 'duel' each other. This however isn't what the dance was all about. This caused havoc and confusion of what the dance was really about. Many "true" shufflers call the others TB's (teeny boppers).
Okay, now for simplification:
battles and showing off = GAY and try hards.
So now you have a grasp of the melbourne shuffle.
There is a popular website on the internet, htt://www.melbshuffle.com
It's a forum where people around the world that shuffle go to.
I got permanently banned from the site though..but that's a long story...
Here are some videos:

I also do this dance too, I had a vid on YouTube but removed it. I might put it back up later.
Now, go, do the shuffle and have some fun! Introduce it to your family and friends.
PARTY ON! XD
