Hey!

Well, all the time im telling you guys macs are better, and i often get hate mail expressing the fact thar pc's are better, but....theyre not!

Can you get a 16 GB Ram in a PC without modding??? Dont think so....

Look at these specs:

Two dual-core 2.5GHz PowerPC G5 processors
1.25GHz frontside bus per processor
1MB L2 cache per core
512MB memory (533MHz DDR2 SDRAM)
250GB Serial ATA hard drive
16x SuperDrive (double-layer)
Three open PCI-Express expansion slots
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 with 256MB GDDR SDRAM

So, Can a crappy pc live up to apple specs???

Take a look at this!!!!!

Apples Kick Ass!

Yes, mac's are very good computers, for the right people!

Most people on these forums are hardcore gamers, or hardcore upgraders, and mac's are good for neither.

But mac's are without a doubt better for image/ video editing, and are a hell of a lot more stable (and your right, they do look sexy!).

Shame about the price tho.

Macs are good for gaming......macs are good for upgrading........and hey ho, the price? Does it matter! look at them!

To my knowledge there are hardly any games that are compatible with macs, and yes for me the price does matter, I'm a 17 year old college student with no job, I'm not gonna pay a bomb for a computer that doesn't do want I want it to do.

But no offence to people who love mac's it's just a matter of preference.

Puny. I heard that Windows Server 2003 can handle up to 512GB of RAM...

Like who would ever have that much?

Oh, and I'd like to disagree about Macs being good for gaming. It takes ages and ages, usually, for brand new games titles to get ported to the Mac, if at all.

But if it was good for gaming, I still wouldn't get one - PCs have better upgrade potential, and are cheaper all round. If Linux was a good gaming platform, I'd rather have that instead of Windows, and keep my normal PC, instead of switching to a Mac.

Don't get me wrong, I quite like Macs (might be getting an old iMac for £50), but they don't suit all of my needs.
