i watched it the other day - Thought it was really quite good.

The director is Ridley Scott (Gladiator, Black Hawk Down...) and i think he's came up with another classic!

anyone else seen it?

Did they focus on the abuses committed by christians?

Why would they do that? It's not an anti-christ movie. Either way, I think it's a pretty good movie.

I think those abuses should not be overlooked. I think it would ignorant to paint muslims as war like barbarians... I think the abuses committed by crusaders should be highlighted. Anti-christ movie? Who said it would have to be? All I'm saying is that I think the crusaders were the bigger barbarians.

I'm not going to see a movie that rejects a huge part of the story.

they dont seem to be overlooked. after all the story is that the christians attack muslims and murder them for no apparent reason. and then the story coninues..

i saw it in the Lecister square odeon and it was quite good actually, the battle scenes are pretty darn good actually, I was impressed. My ticket said "the kingdom of he", sounds a bit like a porn movie of some description
