Default The floods

Such terrible floods day after day, I know that quite a lot of our British members live in these areas, & I'm wondering how they & their families are coping, anyone live near the dam that's very dodgy?
We in the south are thinking of you, a lot of people in my village are voicing their concern, & at the local Women's Institute your part of the country was the main subject on Sunday, they held a prayer session, so my neighbour tells me.

No problems whatsoever in Newcastle. Although some trains where cancelled this morning that where heading South, because of flooding at Doncaster and Sheffield.

Yep, "a months rain in 24 hours" "worse floods in a century" "three killed" , the worse hit areas were Wales, north Yorkshire, Hull & the surrounding towns, water 3 & 4 foot high in places, a car on a bungalow roof, a large motor cruiser picked up bodily & thrown onto a bridge, helicopters rescuing scores of people from their rooftops, on every TV news broadcast, in all the daily nationals, um yes, just a little damp I would say.
