Choosing a laptop

Hello,

I'm going to University next month, and still haven't bought everything I need, including a laptop.

Here's one I'm interested in, but two problems:

1) It weighs 3.85kg without the battery - is this a problem, do you think?

2) Is the graphics card any good?

3) It seems to have 40 minutes of battery life?? How does this compare with other lappys?

I'm struggling, you find a laptop which has one part at the spec you want, and the rest is rubbish, or you find another which is all good except for one bit you want to be higher spec, you ever had that feeling?

That's why I'm having a hard time choosing. I'm going to be doing Computer Science, and I'm into gaming (nothing too intense, things like BF2 which runs on my GeForce FX5200 but I'd like something better).

Thanks for your help.

Not sure why you specifically need a Laptop for University :p But I suppose I can understand.

It sounds like a great spec for the price. Alienware will almost certainly give you what you want, but for a price... and probably more than somebody going to University would want to use for it.
