Replacing the Why thread

So folks....we need to come to terms that uploading our own avatars is not going to happen.

So that being the case, I think we could at least have some cool custom ones that members would like to see. Like say, we start a thread where members submit avatars they'd like to see uploaded to the avatars list, all sized and everything to the limits, then when David has the time he could look at them and decide wheither he likes them or not. Throw out the ones he doesn't like and upload the ones he does.

If you're not going to let us upload our own, at least let us make some cool custom ones that we can use.

I believe your forum doesn't even have the feature to do rep system. Correct me if I'm wrong.

you know, i'm all for custom avatars. that would be great! if David still wants this forum to look professional and clean-cut, maybe we can only have jpegs or bitmaps...no .gifs

and they can only be one size, 64x64 or smaller.

to avoid the porn and what not, we can have a mod...or david review them. if he approves of them, he can upload them!

that would be awesome!

we should all just sign a petition or something. wouldn't that be great?

and besides...wouldn't a nice, cool-looking, attractive forum attract more members? it certainly will...we can spice this forum up and give it a whole new look! new logo, clean custom avatars and sigs...it would be awesome!
