David Update?

Which is ~£80 if I remember rightly? To be fair to David, guys, that's pretty expensive for a bunch of PHP scripts.

I've looked at the 3.6.9 bug fixes and feature list; IMO it's not worth the hassle of upgrading to it. It doesn't really offer any world-changing improvements and it'll be a pain to set up.

I say stick with what we have unless you're really prepared to cough up ~£80.

New is $180.00USD.
Renewal is $40.00USD per year.
Lease is $100.00 USD per year.

Well, AFAIK, upgrading the PHP and MySQL Database is free...but It's my thoughts. I'll never be able to install a forum, today.

I don't know...I mean, is it so hard for them to make cash in the first place? I mean, even Invision...you buy it, but I guess it much less expensive and I think you don't have to renew each year. You just buy a license...Vb, it's just plain money making...

I have told before to switch to Invision.

meh. its not as if david fully utilises/mods this forum anyway. even something simple like phpbb would do.

The user interface of vBulletin from both the user standpoint and the administrative standpoint blows phpBB away.
