I have windows vista and the resoloution is set to 1280 by 1024 pixels 60 Hz and the recomended resoloution is 1440 by 900 pixels 60 Hz. I dont know how to chnage it to the recomended settings and my screen looks smaller than it should be and its hard to see some things. It happend randomly so can anyone please help me.

Right click on desktop -> Personalize -> Display Settings -> Change the resolution slider bar all the way to the right (maximum).

screen looks smaller than it should and its hard to see some things ????

right are you saying the text is too small to see? then you need to lower your resolution not higher it ?

or are you saying the screen objects are too big they are blocking other things ?
