Default Verizon

Does anybody know if verizon allows for server hosting? I have verizon dsl and want to set up a server, i sent them an email but they take forever and figured i might be able to get a faster response here. any takers?

It should be listed in the EULA (End User License Agreement) when you signed up for Verizon. Typical to any ISP, most of them don't allow this, unless you pay them extra money. You may want to find out if you have a static IP address also. Best bet is to call Verizon help desk, and ask them. I used to work for Comcast, and it was against their EULA for anyone to operate a server, or run a business (home based or not) from their house, unless of course they paid the higher rates.
