i brought a working server 2 days ago plugged it in and went to turn it on to set it up and wouldn't turn on when left plugged in i opened it up to see if the motherboard is okay, there is a green light saying it is in standby mode, when ethernet is connected to it, it picks up that is connected as it shows a green light on the ethernet port

i took it all apart and put it back together and still nothing, please help:angel:

Do you have the correct memory etc?

If the server has RSA or imm can you connect using that?

(Are you sure you bought a working server -have you seen it working?)

Yes has all the correct ram, i have seen it working, some people said it might require a graphics card? but i don't know why?

also what is RSA or IMM?

RSA is remote supervisor adapter.
Imm is insight management module (or something like that)
They are ways to use your computer from another machine via a web browser, giving a virtual keyboard and mouse as well as access to some information on hardware state etc...

I assume the machine has onboard graphics?
