I am not a RAM expert so cant help, but I guess you have loaded all the drivers from the CD to the new MOBO? not sure if you ned to re-install...

Exactly, I never said it was the distance its the ability of the wireless to carry the complete signal thats why a wire is better.

jma is spot on, we have 50Mg internet but wirelessly a new laptop only gets about 8Mb due to the wireless, get a 25 metre lead and run it to the garage, its that easy.

Hate the N series dongle with DLINK, we got a free one with the 50Mg internet upgrade for the laptop. It never worked properly so we went back to the wireless inside the laptop and never looked back...

I believe the boot.ini is on the hard drive not the MOBO, I believe you will cahnge the board, windows will boot, you then need to stick in your MOBO and network adapter drivers (to get on the...

Thanks, its a good one its a Thermaltake Toughpower 700 watt. I thought the GTX took up to 280W each and with the other stuff it would not cope?

not sure it does not say it has an operating system on it? when you say "download" windows is this an original windows from M soft or an illegal copy, that might be you problem if it is.
