Hey everyone, I'm just starting school on tuesday for computer science and our first book is learning java. I was kinda thinking about trying to get a jump start on everyone else because my school is well known for recruiting computer science students. I was just wondering if you guys could throw out some tips for me before i enter out into the computer programming world, well and college. Thanks a lot

You will be fixing errors more than programming.
You will use ALL of the things you learn later in the year.
