Default Sockets in networking/programing!

Hello everyone

My first post here & im just getting into programming & have a small missunderstanding.

When it comes to setting up sockets, for example theres udp & tcp protocols but then there’s also “raw” udp & “raw” tcp??

If someone could please give a quick explanation of what makes the socket/protocol “raw”...

Sorry if it doesnt make alot of sense, my current understanding in networking for programming isnt advanced!
