Help please on reviewing this pc

Hello guys, I was wondering if once again I may call upon your merciful souls on some advice on the computers.

Here is my problem, I can buy the pc at Source by circuit. Please don't suggest me other stores because I cant buy there and i'd really not get into it.

I was looking into buying a computer that would support game such as WoW, Jade Dynasty, Perfect World, etc...

Here I will post links to 2 computers that i have found so please if you can give me feedback on how good the processor, graphic card and in general how well should run with these games.

I personally thought they were good enough but feedback from people like you who know much more then I would be more then worth hearing before i buy and regret. So please spare a few minutes for a Review

The second is definitely a more modern gaming computer. The first is probably more geared for lower end gaming. The GeForce 210 might lag out a bit, and a 4870 might be a bit much. The Q8200 is pretty well perfect for what you want, and the I7 920 is overkill.

And you are not willing to assemble parts from Newegg.ca? You can get the exact parts you want for much less than these pre-built's.

EDIT: Honestly, if it HAD to be out of these two, I'd pick the i7 rig. What's 200 dollars for a huge performance boost, right?

I dont have the money to buy it from newegg.ca im buying on source credit card and thats the only place i could get a credit so there lies my problem. Thank you very much for your review, could I by any chance get couple more people to say something?

No problem, doc. I would say the first one is more suitable, but a GeForce 210 is not exactly ideal, it would run WoW on probably hybrid-medium settings and lag a bit in areas with a concentration of players/NPC's. Thus I'm turning away from the first. Whereas the second, again...An i7 is pretty much overkill. This is why I'm caught inbetween here. But it's only 200 more which is about what you'd end up paying to upgrade the GeForce 210 in the first rig. I'm still siding with the second computer.

by overkill you means i just dont need that much or it might screw up pc a bit?
and could i build in a wireless in the second one? and how much would it cost?

Overkill in the sense that the games you intend to play on it would not even cause the i7 920 to break a sweat. It's a quad-core, hyper threaded. EIGHT threads in OS.

I am assuming both have PCI slots so yes. You could buy one. Unfortunately, I'm not sure which would be best for gaming. I don't use wireless for the most part, so I'm no specialist in this category. However, I can tell you that you can't go wrong with a 300MBps Wireless-N card. I chose the Sabrent 802.11n PCI adapter. It's pretty good in close range, but if you don't set up the antennae right for longer distances, any audio playing on your computer does a weird 'schzzt" thing about every 12 seconds. I'd suggest staying away from it. I'm not sure if what I got was a dud and has that issue, or the card does this naturally, but I'd avoid the hassle if at all possible.

2nd all the way


you cant even buy and I7 and a 4870 for $200, but here, you can, good deal, go get'em.
