So my friend had a laptop that had a cooling problem so this is what he did!
Yes, it works 100 percent! Wifi and all! He repurposed the laptops LCD screen to be either a second monitor for his main computer or connected it to the laptop via VGA! Also yes, that monitor behind the "laptop" is the LCD screen, with a home built stand.
