Default Wirless Internet, Maxamizing Security, is it possible?

I want to know if anyone knows anything about maxamixing internet security wirelessly. I figure encryption would be the best way from user to router. is this possible with a generic belkin router? What other threats need i consider besides wireless signal interception? thanks all

Default Re: Wirless Internet, Maxamizing Security, is it possible?

set wpa2 encryption, set mac filtering (helps a little i guess). thats about it really.
i wouldnt be too worried to be honest. just having wep/wpa is enough in most environments. if you have a big business/have something on your network someone wants id consider extra equipment
