Ok I just purchased a compaq presario R4000 laptop for school and I want to re-network my house for wireless use. I've been using a wired router for 3 years now and have no clue what wireless cards/routers are best and what all the crap they talk about means. I do know 108mps is faster than 54mps. I also play games on this laptop and need to learn how to do port forwarding and whatever else maybe be needed to do wireless online gaming. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has a guide or list of places where I can 1. Learn about the basics of wireless, 2. Figure out what router/network card I need for my laptop, 3. Learn how to get online games to work with my network, and 4. Where can I buy this stuff for a reasonable price. Thnx
