What will be faster?

Would it be faster to use a wireless-N router or hardwire my home? I have a 2wire G router and it's terrible for wireless other than printing. I was thinking about just hard wiring three rooms using the 2wire, then getting a TRENDnet 8-Port GREENnet Switch (8 x 10/100Mbps Auto-Negotiation RJ-45 ports) TE100-S80g to connect all components of entertainment center in living room.
What do you think of the Actiontec 300 Mbps Wireless-N DSL Modem Router (GT784WN) if I went wireless?

I was wireless with my PS3, but it continued to lose signal, so I went through the trouble of running a wire.
If your not doing anything important, then wireless is ok, I wouldn't use it for gaming or anything that you can't have a weak signal.
