Switching ISP - questions

Hey, hope I am posting this in the right place.

anyways, I was thinking about switching my ISP because right now I get about 300-340 kbps down, and on MNSI 's website (the isp I want to switch to) I can apparently get 3m down for about the same price. But I am kind of wondering what that means, is there anyway they can distort that number and make it seem bigger?

340 Kbps is about 3 Mbits....So you're paying to get the same thing.

It basically breaks down to .3 MegaBytes/sec..20MB/Min..etc...
