Default Small Workgroup

We're setting up a small lab that we want to be isolated from our main domain. The line runs in from the main network to a win2k3 server, and then from there to a switch that the other 20 computers are connected to. We would like to have this workgroup on its own ip subnet but I have no idea how to set that up. Any suggestions?

This will require quite an in-depth reply and since you have "no idea" how to set it up my suggestion would be to find someone who can come out and do it for you.
Don't take life too seriously -- no one gets out alive. Plus, who wants to arrive to the hereafter in pristine condition wearing a suit and tie?
I want to slide in sideways, worn out, used up, hair a mess, clothes tattered, & screaming, "Whooo! What a ride!"
