Slow wireless on windows vista

I have a laptop which runs Windows Vista Home Premium. When i use wired the internet and network speed is fast and downloads at about 250kb/s which is what we are suposed to get (2MB Internet). However when i use wireless the download speed is about 2kb/s. It takes about 3 minutes to load some websites. When i use the same wireless connection on another OS such as xp or linux the speed if fine and downloads at the fast speed. The connection speed for the wireless is 11mbps. This is not just my laptop it also doesnt work with my brothers vista pc and its all slow.

Try disabling auto tuning, it works...sometimes.
