Sharing Internet Connection?

I have an external adsl modem connected to my computer through a USB cable and I wanted to know what would be the best way for 2 computers to share this connection simultaneously? Because I'm unsure what equipment I'd need for routers to do this. Do I need a NIC? buy an internal modem? I'm new to this networking business. Thanks!

Items you will need:

A network connection on the computer- if it's relatively new, it should already have one. If not, you should purchase a NIC to install (PCI, USB, or wireless)

You will also need a wireless router, they're not much more than a wired router, so you may as well get one, just to have wireless. With this, you will need a couple of Cat5 patch cables to run to the closest computer, unless you're going completely wireless.

That's all you need, an item for the PC, and a wireless router with cables. Then connect.
