Problem with HP printer and Airport Extreme

Hi,

I have 2 HP laser jets M251n and P1109. The M251n prints ok whether connected directly to a computer or if connected to an Airport express. The P1109 will only print if connected to a computer, I can't print to it when connected to the AirPort Extreme.

Any ideas why that is, and how can I get it to print when connected to the Extreme - so I can print from multiple devices.

Do you know if the printer is receiving an IP address when it's connected to the Airport? You should be able to find this somewhere in the menus on the printer. Probably under network settings or the like.

Then assuming it does have an IP address, can you ping that address from your computer? These are the first things to check.
