Default page not displayed

I posted this in the general category but realized I should have posted it here, sorry.

I constantly have to restart my belkin wireless b/g router because often times when I turn on my laptop, no page is displayed when I open up internet explorer. I have a Macafee firewall. I also have two vonage boxes that don't work when I can't get to an intenet page and another laptop that the same thing happens. Could the router just be old? Once I restart the cable modem, router, and vonage boxes, everything works. It is just getting annoying because I have to restart a couple time per week.
