Unhappy network disabling

hello, i dont know if this is the right place to ask, but i will.

i have a laptop and it is my dads old work one and it is still locked on to his old network. As i am not an admin user i do not get very good priviliges. for example i cannot use windows media player or load things on to it. I want to be able to basically wipe the laptop and start it all over again. If anyone can suggest a site to look at or know anything please help.

well the best bet is just to format the thing and reinstall the operating system.
Back in the day it used to be easier to confuse trolls with a chunk of cheese.
