Need Help Wireless Networking

Network : Linksys Wireless B Router and wireless ethernet card.

Issue : Whenever I have my router connected there is an unpleasant crackling noise that emminates from my speakers. I have the Creative Labs 5.1 speaker system. This only occurs when the router is connected. If I have my system plugged via a modem this sound does not exist. This this be some sort of intereference between router and speaker? And If so how can I absolve?

The speakers are picking up interferance from the router. You need to move them further apart.
