Hey, so I've recently got a new hard drive for my laptop after my old hard drive fried, and I have recently installed Vista on it (lost my XP disc 
), but I am having trouble. I am currently at my school campus (only place I can use internet), and I cannot connect to the wireless network here to use Windows Update to reinstall my drivers. I don't have a driver disc at all, I was never given one in the package. The laptop is a Gateway MT6728, and I've downloaded the only wireless adapter driver on Gateway's site that says is compatible with my model, but nothing is working.
The device driver doesn't even list the network adapter as being installed, only my modem. Does anyone have any ideas? I am pulling my hair out trying to get this to work.
