Recently my parents had me network our whole house, and I don't know if it matters but i'll describe the layout.

internet > modem > router > three computers on the router and an 8 port switch > four computers and a wireless router > two laptops on the wireless

My parents are always suspicious of what my brother does on the internet but he always manages to hide it. They aren't as good with computers, so they asked me if there was anyway to log any internet activity. Does anyone know of a program that will monitor and log any websites visited through your internet connection?

As an older brother and an adult I have seen what kind of trouble younger bro's and sis's can get into on the net..

I have installed a monitoring software on my litter sisters computer and monitor her activities.

You have to install it on his computer but the logs can be transfered by network, email or stay on his computer..

Not to worry you can install it in total stealth and he wont know it's there. He wont be able to shut it down or remove it. But you will need his computer to install it on..

I agree with Duck, dont be a snitch, if your brother is doing stuff he shouldnt be, talk to him yourself and keep your parents out of it. thats what brothers are for. A little porn is healthy

would you like it if someone was spying on you??

But than you can get into my other Neice got into..

Cell bill skyrockets, someone in Ohio has there phone number, address and pictures of my niece.. She gave them all to this guy.. He claims he is 16, maybe so.. But shes 14 and doesn't need to be sending there address on to other people she don't really know...

Parents Monitoring their children should be done more often.. It can be a valuble tool.. And children today wont tell you when they relize they went too far and now trouble is starting..
Next thing you know, your cell bill is high, some guy is calling your phone constintaly , IMs and emails in bad nature and your ISP is mailing you a letter because the IRAA sent them a letter because your IP has downloaded 4000 songs illegaly.

All because you didn't want your parents "Spy" on your little brother. if they aren't doing anything wrong, then they wont get into any trouble.

To the ppl that are saying don't spy on him: who do you think you guys are? as BuzzStPoint has pointed out there is a lot of things kid do that they arn't susposed to do on the net. Parents should be keeping track of what you do online at all times. thats y there are so many screwed up kids today because they have parents that don't keep track of what they watch on TV and movies and don't keep track of what they do online. i'm not saying that everybody that isn't supervised is going to end up screwed up but it increases the chances hugely.

kenny8318 tell your parents good job for them to be keeping track of there kid.

Are you using the free one or did you buy it?

I purchased it for my parents.. The "Demo" pops up every half hour notifying of the user..

Even in the Full version, you have have that pop up display any message at any time interval.. Small pop up in the lower right about 2" x 2" . Should also state that you can turn the popup off if you want to run in total stealth.

It logs tons of stuff.. Not as pretty as Spybuddy, But I didn't like the features of spybuddy.. Couldn't send large emails, nor transfer the logs through the network.
