Minimise One Computers Network Usage

Ok, So I play Xbox Live and we have a good connection. But when my sister I drop to red-bar and start lagging.

I was wondering if I can stop my sister so much usage of the connection, all she does is browse and on messenger so could I limit her usage?

I have a BT HomeHub 2.0, and I can access the settings/device manager to change the settings if needed.

What operating system is on the computer?

If there's a way to enable QoS on the router/homehub, that would be the way to go. You can give priority to gaming traffic and that should help.

Already did a search for his router and didn't find anything, but I did find some bandwidth limiting Software for various OS'.
