100% impossible. the only way to hide your real ip is to use a proxy

Well, people can force the proxies to give up your true IP address. That's when you start getting into going through multiple proxies to make it harder to track.

Basically, the proxy downloads whatever you asked for, and then it sends it to you instead of you directly downloading it. That way, the download server or whatever logs the proxy IP, not your own. Good free proxies are hard to find, but Google is your friend.

yea, google should make an embedded free proxy service built into the site, that would be great, but then google wouldnt get any money from the government for the people who download illegal shit, lol

Why is this in the Social Lounge? Shouldn't this be in Networking/DNS or maybe even Security/Hacking?

But then again maybe it was a misunderstanding. Emotion is hard to detect on the internet. It is up to the mod i guess. Not like he got banned or anything. Maybe he deserved, i ain't sure. Lets just drop it.
