im trying to network my desktop pc (vista ultimate sp1) with my ibook g4 (osx 10.4.11). i'm using a wrt54gl. the pc is using a d-link wireless adapter and the mac is using the built in airport.
when ever i try to connect to either, the username and passwords don't work even though i enter the correct ones.
i disabled the password on the pc and was able to transfer a file from the pc to the mac using the mac, but i want to transfer the other way. the only way to do it was to use "connect to server", then smb://ip address of the pc
ive looked at countless internet articles to no avail. any suggestions are welcome.
