The setup:

Cable -> Modem -> Main Host Desktop (Windows XP Pro) -> Wireless access point to other laptops

The main host desktop works as a router here. And lately it keeps automatically restarting - like once in 1-3 hours.

The errors are these:

error:

The DHCP allocator has disabled itself on IP address 192.168.2.1, since the IP address is outside the 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 scope from which addresses are being allocated to DHCP clients. To enable the DHCP allocator on this IP address, please change the scope to include the IP address, or change the IP address to fall within the scope.

Any ideas what should be done in order to fix this problem?
Feel free to ask any questions.

With the cost of wireless routers going down and the quality going up, it might be in your best interest to buy a router. I nabbed a couple of the cisco 3000 series for 59.00 each at office depot. Check new egg.

Just buy a $50-60 wireless router. It's some much more reliable. It should clear up all the problems you're having.
