Default Connecting to shared connection

Hey, I successfully connected two computers via crossover cable. The desktop is connected to the laptop with the crossover and the laptop is connected to the internet via wireless. I am trying to connect to the internet with the desktop plugged into the laptop but cannot. They share files fine but I cant get the interent connection to be shared. On the laptop I went into properties of wireless and clicked to allow other computers to use this internet connection. What am I missing here?

I got it figured out. All I did was forgot to put in the DNS server addresses.
