My laptops have never had a problem connecting to available networks before now. I have an ASUS i7 running Windows 7. The troubleshooter can't diagnose the problem. I have disabled the LAN and compared all the settings with my other laptop and they are all the same except for Network Authentication (WPA-PSK on the one that is working and WPA-Personal on the one that won't connect) WPA-PSK is not an option on the Windows 7 for me. We have 3 other computers connected at this time so the router is working (and we restarted it anyway). My Verizon mobile is working on this computer right now to enable me to write this post. I have tried several settings and checked Device Manager and can't figure it out. Troubleshooter keeps wanting me to connect an Ethernet cable when it can't figure anything else out. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.
