Benefits of Good signal Strength and SNR

can any one explain the benefits of having a good signal Strength and SNR in a wireless network :confused:
 
Well i think they should be pretty obvious. The better the signal strength the quicker and more accurately data will be transferred. There is less likely for data to be dropped. The higher the SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) the better the data can be delivered. If there is less interfernce (noise) the data is more likely to be delivered accurately.
