I have a strange question for you . . . . . is Maryland particularly well known for it's southern fried chicken?

I'm in Leicester (UK) and there are a couple of southern fried chicken places called Maryland.

No, not really. Maryland is below the Mason Dixon line so it's "Southern", that's about it. The best places are in North Carolina! That is a cool fact though, if I ever make it to the UK I'll have to try Maryland's chicken

No I wouldn't advise it not especially great quality . . . .
