is it worth putting 2 IDE drives into raid 0

Hi, I have 2 IDE 80GB drives lying around and I was wondering if it is worthwhile putting both of them into raid 0 for speed. I'm probably going to purchase a new HDD anyway, but just wondering.

I am out of IDE ports on my pc so I would probably have to get a couple of IDE to SATA converters...but I can still raid them right?

If I was playing games off them, would I notice a loading improvement in comparison to my WD Caviar?
