Wireless Repeater ?

hi,

heres my situation my girlfriend that lives across the road from me has wireless internet and obviously she lets me use it but when i am over my house i can only pick up her wireless signal in my mums room so..

is there anything that i can buy that i will put in my mums room that will capture her wireless signal and repeat it so i get a strong signal in my room ?

im from the uk so if you could reccomend somewhere to get it if there is such thing then that would be great

or can any1 else suggest a way to be using her internet over my house without running like a 50 M ethernet cable lol

maybe first try repositioning the router in her house , where is itsituated in her house , if possible put it in one of the front rooms and infrot of a window
