I recently purchased an hp pavilion n3310 notebook from my friend. The other day i went out and bought a wireless router and card for the notebook. I was able to install the card fine in the notebook, no problems. It says i am receiving a strong signal and I am able to access the configuration menu in the router, but whenever i try to get on the actual internet (firefox, AIM, etc) I am unable to connect. I'm running windows 2000 on the laptop. I have no idea what I am doing wrong as i havnt set up a lan connection on windows 2000 before, only dialup. If someone could help me out i'd really appreciate it.
