Hi Guys

I a newbie her great site searhed it on google.

I have a prolem maybe you can help i am running XP prof and i think i have deleted some registry keys that i think i shouldnt have.

So i tried reinstalling Xp however when i had put the disk in it said the version of xp that i have is newer then the one i am trying to install, the one i have doest have service pack with it so i haad just downloaded it.

Now i unistalled service pack then it accepted it but i cant seem to get it to go i think i installed it all correctly but now the computer doesnt seem to boot up just a blank screen.

I can boot it up in safe mode and all my programs seem to still be there.

Any suggestions isnt there a way i can delete everything and start over?

Thanks

Hi guys

I got it going however having prooblems with my hard drive its only recngnizing 130 gig i have 200 gig.......any suggestions?

Yeah - it looks like you have a Windows XP Upgrade CD - which won't upgrade from XP to XP. You'll have to get a normal Install Version or - if you don't have SP2 - install it and it will clear up Registry keys because of the vast changes it makes to XP.
