When I try to open the my music folder, which has a lot of the stuff I downloaded in there, it says, "To protect your computer, Windows has decided to close this program: Name: Windows Explorer
Publisher: Microsoft" and then i get one of the error report things and when I click dont send, my icons and toolbar disappears and then after about half a second it comes back on with everything as it was before I clicked My Music. Can anyone help me out?

this is a really urgent problem, because I cant get to any of the files Ive downloaded, so can anyone please help me out, I would appreciate it greatly.

EDIT: I moved the files in My Music to My Videos, and now I can open My Music folder without a problem, but now when I open My Videos I get the error message as I did b4 when I opened My Music.

Windows Explorer is a service that needs to be running with Windows..
It should not end..

I'd do a virus scan as well as adware and spyware to be safe.

For a free online scan, I reccomend:
http://housecall.antivirus.com (It runs right through your browser).

For an adware scanner, I reccomend:
Ad-Aware Personal from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

For a spyware scanner, I reccomend:
Windows Defender (Beta 2) from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...e7-da2b-4a6a-afa4-f7f14e605a0d&DisplayLang=en

After you clean your computer, I'd reccomend buying an antivirus..
NOD32 is an exellent scanner and can be found at http://www.nod32.com/home/home.htm

If you can't afford to pay for an antivirus, get AVG Free at http://free.grisoft.com

Good luck.
