will windows get messed up of I get this?

I was thinking of upgrading mobo and processor to this. will that mess up windows and make me reformat or can I keep all my programs intact?

That wouldn't mess up windows at all. That's a motherboard and processor. The windows is held on your hard drive, which is separate. Have you made sure all of your components will fit before you buy it?

well it has agp and enoigh pci slots for my other stuff. The only thing that I would have to be changed is the ram since it has to be ddr2. I just heard that windows doesnt like mobo upgrades and would need to be reinstalled.

Ya you can't put ddr ram in a ddr2 slot.

if that doesn't work, you could do a windows repair.

You will more than likely have to do a repair of windows, and it may need activated again.

yeah windows will probably get confused with the new hardware, ive done that before a long time ago changing harddrives to a different computer and it was tuff. I forgot what happen its been so long but i know something was wrong from it lol
