I am looking to add wireless capability to our 4 family Compaq N610C Evo Notebooks.
They are older notebooks, using 2GHz Intel CPUs, 1Gb ram, and 30 GB HDs.
I am looking at buying some wireless cards but don't know if these notebooks can take advantage of an N+ or N capable card versus a G or even 802.11 cards?
I can get a G card for around $20 but N cards cost double that. Basic 10/100 cards can be had for under $10.
Where is my sweet spot with regard to which cards I should get?
