I just bought an asus a8n32-sli deluxe motherboard, and in the bios it says in the system information that the installed size of the memory is four gigs, and the usable size is 3 gigs. how can i get my mobo to use that last gig. on asus support online it says i need a specific chipset (which i have) and a specific os (windows xp 64) which doesnt make sense since the bios overrides the os, so how can the os recognize 4 gigs when the mobo cant?
somebody please help out, i am really annoyed by this.
