Hi, I just installed the 64 bit edition of windows vista RC1, and I dont know what the difference is between it and the 32bit edition. Under display settings/color/ its set at 32bit(highest), with no 64 bit in the menu. So what is the difference?

64 bit refers to the processing, not display colors. Your colors will always be 32 bit.

Oh, that was a misunderstanding on my part, I thought they had went from 16bit-32bit-and now 64bit. Ok, so is 64bit supposed to be faster? Or what maajor differences does it have?

I wouldnt use the 64bit edition yet. because there is still not much applications out there that can run on it or even work. Like i wanted to use my wireless device but I couldnt bc stupid linksys didnt come out with a 64bit driver for it and then Bf2142 didnt work either

64bit will be frikin awesome once everything is moved to it

Actually, about BF2142, it had scrambled menus and stuff for me with the 32bit version, I had reinstalled it many times too, but with the 64 bit it works fine.
