I am trying to create a awesoem gamingpc and i need a video card thats is good but inexpensive. my price range is 175dollars

please stop making so many threads about the same/similar topics.
If you are going to spend that much, either go with the 9800GTX+ or the 4850. They both are great cards.

hes from Canada?

If you are from the states and want to use all the $175, i would either choose the
4850 - $170

or the

9800GTX - $160

I would get the 9800GTX because it might be nice to pick another one of these to SLI since my motherboard supports SLI, if it doesnt then i would get the 4850

he could, but if he was going to ask me and why, i would get the 9800GTX+ because of my motherboard.
If i have a single card or crossfire motherboard, then i would get the 4850.

It depends on numerous factors:
- What resolution do you play at?
- Do you enable AA/AF?
- Do you overclock?

i play at a normal resolution for a old crappy monitor with a back to it (non-LCD) need to save money ;)

Does AA mean Anti Alias or somethign?

And i probaly willwitha 3.16GHz Core 2 Duo processor

yes, AA means Anti Aliasing, and AF means Antiscopic Filtering i think...
so im assuming its 1024 x 768 for resolution for CRT?
an 8800GT/9800GT should be fine for you.

unless you plan to get a new monitor
