My psu is a 550watt psu, I have a 4850 512mb vid card, and sata dvd burner and sata hardrives, the mobo is non working, same as processor, the ram is DDR2..
What I'm wondering is if I should just scrap the psu and vid card and just rebuild an entire new system from PSU up. or is a 550 psu able to handle like a amd black edition phenom 2 quad core. I'll probably be upgrading to a faster hard drive and faster ram as well. I'm a have about 700 bucks I think to remodel this build so I was wondering what I should keep and what I should do away with.
