What RAM chip kind should I buy?

My PC (Tiny, Pentium 4 1.7GHz, Windows ME) has RAR of 256MB and I was looking to upgrade to 512MB.

The probelm is I am confused as to which type (DDR, SDRAM etc etc) I should buy and which types would be compatible with my system.

Could someone guide me?

P.S. I am also looking to upgrade my graphics card from an NVIDIA Geforce 2, any suggestions (on a budget) on what I should go for?

I'd just throw in 256Meg of SD Ram; its the most likely. Gte it from somewhere you can send it back from though - or phone Tiny and ask what the exact RAM Spec is.

FX5200. Cheapest of the new lines; depends however what your budegt is, but that's the lowest spec of the reasonable ones, set you back about $50-70

You are not giving enough details about your Tiny PC. If you go to their website, you should get all the details about your system mobo, RAM, bus etc.
If your mobo can take 1 Gig, I"d put in as much as your mobo can take.
